If you’ve recently tested positive for COVID-19, our clinical trial may be something you CAN do.
It can be difficult to know how to feel after
a positive COVID-19 test result. It might feel like there’s nothing you can do except wait, but you could use this time to help
us investigate potential treatment options
for COVID-19.
Our clinical trial is assessing a study drug for people with asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic COVID-19 and is enrolling now.
This research study may be an option for people who:
1. are aged between 18 and 55 years old, inclusive
2. have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 5 days
3. have mild symptoms or no symptoms
Why is this clinical trial needed?
Over 43 million people in the USA have tested positive for
COVID-19. However careful we are, more people receive a
positive test result every day. That’s why, despite the
development of vaccines, we need to keep researching
treatment options for people with COVID-19.
What is the COVID 201 study testing?
We are testing the effect of a study drug on people with
COVID-19. The study drug is administered as nasal drops. The
study drug will be compared to placebo nasal drops, which
look the same, but do not contain any active ingredients. We
will also be assessing the safety of the study drug.
